Transport Management

From transport order to delivered shipment, tightly organised.

Schematic illustration of Transport Management

Transport management is about day-to-day execution: planning shipments, deploying carriers, monitoring trips and making sure everything arrives on time and in good condition. It is the operational engine of your logistics. Where Carrier Management is about building and managing your carrier network, transport management is about what that network delivers every day.

01

The four pillars of transport management

Transport planning
Orders are scheduled in good time based on loading and unloading windows, shipment requirements and available capacity. Special requirements, such as ADR, refrigerated transport or a tail lift, are taken into account at the planning stage.

Carrier coordination
Every shipment goes to a carrier that suits the load and the lane. Changes are coordinated immediately, so everyone works with the same information.

Trip monitoring
We follow progress during the trip. If a trip deviates from the plan, this is immediately visible and it can be adjusted.

Execution and completion
After delivery, the proof of delivery is available, any deviations are dealt with and the trip is ready for invoicing.

02

Execution based on fixed agreements

Every step in the transport process is laid down in clear agreements with carriers: when an order is offered, how quickly a carrier must respond, what happens in the event of a cancellation and how additional costs are handled. This ensures predictability, even when things are busy.
