Data-driven logistics optimisation

From scattered data to well-founded logistics decisions.

Schematic illustration for Data-driven logistics optimisation

Data-driven logistics optimisation means improving your logistics based on what the figures show, not on assumptions. Many organisations make important decisions about carriers, routes and budgets with an incomplete picture. Noventra makes your transport data complete, reliable and usable, and helps you turn it into concrete improvements.

01

Step 1: Complete data

Optimisation starts with good data. All transport information from your chain comes together in OrangeChain. Where data is missing, we use AI combined with your historical transport data to fill the gaps. We always show which information has been supplemented, so you know what you are building on.

02

Step 2: Analysis and insight

With complete data, patterns become visible that would otherwise stay hidden:

  • on which lanes costs are rising fastest
  • where waiting time and additional costs occur structurally
  • which delivery locations lead to delays more often
  • how your volumes develop over the course of the year

For performance per carrier, see Carrier Analytics.

03

Step 3: Targeted improvements

Insight without action delivers nothing. Based on the analysis, we make concrete proposals, for example for a different allocation of volume, a new rate request or changes to loading and unloading times. We measure the effect against a benchmark agreed in advance, so savings can be demonstrated.

04

Backing for important decisions

Are you facing a decision with a major commercial impact? Then you can request an additional validation. You receive an explanation of the factors behind the figures and the sources on which they are based. This lets you justify the data properly within your organisation.

05

Data from the network

Because Noventra works for multiple shippers and carriers, we can use anonymised data, in aggregated form, to refine market and sector averages. Your own company data is never shared in a traceable way. The result: better benchmarks and more accurate emissions calculations for your CSRD and Scope 3 reporting.

What does data-driven logistics deliver?

  • Well-founded decisions instead of gut feeling
  • Measurable savings against a fixed benchmark
  • Early flagging of cost increases and bottlenecks
  • Transparency about the origin and quality of your data
  • Better CSRD reporting thanks to more accurate emissions data
