What does a monitoring agent do?
Chasing missing information
If an expected status update does not arrive, the agent contacts the carrier itself to request it. Your employees no longer have to chase it by phone.
Assessing deviations
Not every delay is a problem. The agent assesses whether a deviation affects the agreed delivery time and how big that impact is.
Preparing follow-up actions
If a delivery is at risk of arriving late, the agent prepares the next step. That could be a message for your customer, a proposal for a new time slot or a notification to the right contact person.
Escalating when needed
The agent immediately refers situations that fall outside the agreements to an employee, with all the relevant information already set out.
